Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

Online orders ship within 1-3 business days. 

Shipping rates are calculated based on weight and carrier selected. Please note for international shipments, additional customs fees may apply upon arriving in the destination country to be collected by the selected carrier.  

Tracking numbers will be sent via email or SMS once your order has shipped.

Please note that delivery times may vary based on carrier pickup. Orders placed after 12PM EST on Friday may not ship until the following Monday.

In-Store Pickup:

All local pickup orders must be picked up within 30 days of confirmation of your order being ready. The Museum is open for pickup orders daily, 10 am-6pm at our 104th St and 5th Ave entrance. You must show your ID and order number when picking up your purchase. Please note that you can only pickup your order once you receive an email stating that it is ready. It may take several days to fulfill your order. Orders need to be picked up within 30 days of the initial notification, we cannot store them. No refunds will be issued after 30 days from receipt of notice if your order is not picked up within this window. If something comes up and you need us to hold the order longer, please email: onlineorders@mcny.org 

Return Policy:

Your satisfaction is our goal! If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact the Museum Shop at (917) 492-3474 or onlineorders@mcny.org within 30 days for an exchange or refund in the form of original payment. All returns must be pre-approved before sending. For online and in-store sales you have 30 days to return your merchandise. 

It is recommended that a copy of your receipt or a copy of your invoice is included in your return.

Items must be unused and returned in the same condition you received it.

Online customers should receive a confirmation email once the refund is complete. Please allow 5-7 business days from the time the Museum Shop receives the returned item for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.. 

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and retain all original packaging.
