Rub a Dub-Dub there's a duck in the tub, dressed just like the Statue of Liberty!
Some historical background:
Rubber ducks originated in the late 19th century, when manufacturers began using vulcanized rubber, an invention by American chemist Charles Goodyear. The first rubber ducks were solid and intended to be chew toys for babies and dogs. They didn't float.
