May of 2023 marks 100 years since the founding of the Museum of the City of New York, as the first city museum in the United States. A true landmark event, the Museum’s Centennial will include a multi-pronged exhibition schedule that will give life to the essence of New York City through the eyes of artists and creators, inventors and pioneers, locals, and visitors. Programming will extend beyond the Museum’s walls, reaching across the diverse and distinct communities of the five boroughs.
To commemorate our centennial year we added a striking blue/green ombré motif to our classic MCNY logo, which is echoed in this pleated tote by Loqi.
