Little Island is a free park located on an artificial island on the Hudson River near the site of the damaged Pier 54. Funded by the Diller-Von Furstenberg Foundation and designed by Heatherwick Studio & Signe Nielsen of MNLA, it opened to the public in May 2021. It was then gifted to the City of New York. The island is a treasure trove of textures where the natural world intersect the built environment in beautiful and unexpected ways. We hope you'll soon get to experience it yourself.
The Jigsaw Nomad is founded by Valeria Bianco, a designer, New Yorker, puzzle aficionado and resident nomad.
