Located on the corner of the Avenue of the Americas and West 50th Street, in the 12 acre complex known as Rockefeller Center, is the spectacular Radio City Music Hall. Nicknamed the Showplace of the Nation, there is just no theater like it, and the overwhelming magnitude of it is dazzling, from The Great Stage that resembles a setting sun, to the Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ, the largest pipe organ built for a movie theater. It is still the largest and most opulent indoor theater in the world. Its marquee is a full city block long.
